How do you get people—and the media—to rally behind safer streets? By showing the impact in action.

During my time at 8 80 Cities, I produced and edited a series of videos documenting three public space interventions designed to make streets safer for pedestrians and vulnerable road users. These videos highlighted the work of 8 80 Cities staff and the community impact, while also catching the media's attention to amplify the campaign’s reach.

The result? Widespread media coverage that helped build public support and encouraged politicians to invest in human-centered infrastructure, paving the way for safer, more inclusive streets for all.
