Services: Visual Identity, Copywriting

The Hummingbird Healing Lodge is a sacred space for healing, renewal, and resilience, supporting Indigenous peoples, land defenders, MMIW2S families, survivors of state violence, and all those resisting colonial oppression. Rooted in harm reduction and accessibility, the Lodge offers ceremonies, sweat lodges, saunas, cold plunges, and somatic practices to nurture transformation and community care.

When collaborating with No More Silence, I set out to create a visual identity that embodies the Lodge’s mission and values. The logo centers on a hummingbird, a symbol of adaptability, joy, and connection to the heavens, encircled by strawberry seeds that represent nurture, interconnectedness, and life’s cyclical nature. A ribbon of circles weaves through the design, honoring ancestors and the community, bridging past and present.

The identity is brought to life with electric blue—symbolizing the heavens—and organic, asymmetrical shapes that evoke the cosmos’ imperfect balance. The final design celebrates the Lodge’s sacred mission, fostering belonging and connection for all who seek healing and resilience.
